Hotel which doesnt impress on first site. But it has a lot of great things going for it! Location: you can ski to the slopes and ski back to the hotel. There is a great onsen! Absolutely adored soaking in the hot water after a long day skiing. The breakfast is Japanese style with some bread possibilities. But it is healthy and good. The hotel is at walking distance to some nice restaurants in the neighbourhood. We stayed in a Japanese style family bedroom and slept on futons. It was nice overly comfortable, but nevertheless a lovely experience. Great value for money!

Fantastic location. Ski in ski out. Walking distance from Hirafu welcome center and in town. I loved my in room private onsen with a view of ski slopes in Niseko. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They held luggage for me when I arrived early so I could ski, they have changing rooms, storage lockers, ski lockers, and large wonderful public onsen that was never crowded.

Amazing facilities and super convenient for access to the ski lift. Great location in the town and friendly staff who kindly gave us complimentary champagne for our anniversary. We had the “non smoking deluxe twin with private onsen” which was soo worth it for the private onsen! The photos don’t do it justice. We loved our stay and wished we stayed longer :) won’t stay anywhere else when coming to the snow in Japan now, will definitely be back.

We loved the private Onsen - so nice to come into after a day on the snow. Our deal included buffet breakfast which I'd recommend. Staff very obliging and friendly. There's no longer a bar at the hotel (used to be), plenty of nearby options. We have stayed here several times and the main attraction is both the public and private Onsens.

I’ve been here for 4 days. I liked the service mind of staffs. They were not only friendly but also kindly to visitors. However, the infrastructures were old fashioned but the facilities were well functioned.

Room was in the renovated wing which was a significant improvement from the previous older ones. Breakfast is excellent as before. In-room onsen was a bliss! Location was excellent.

Staff was awesome and very helpful. They made us feel welcome and helped with issues we had like ordering a taxi or getting information about surroundings. 10 stars for staff. Rooms were clean. We had in room onsen. It was small but the view was great. Breakfast buffet was great. Lots of things to choose from, Japanese and western. Ski Lyft was very close to the hotel. Price was also reasonable. There is no other place where you can have an in room onsen for this price.

1. Private ensuite onsen 2. View of Mt Yotei in front of onsen 3. Choice of public onsen (which was huge) & there were 3-4 in the women’s onsen 4. Good breakfast buffet 5. Within 7-10 min walk to Grand Hirafu base & welcome centre (connecting bus to Kutchan station) 6. Newly renovated private onsen room 7. Loads of snow around the hotel & you can view the slopes & chair lifts at the breakfast area

We loved the ski in and ski out here in Hirafutei. It was super convenient leaving our ski gear in the lockers downstairs and you can walk straight out to the ski lifts. The Onsen in our room was absolute heaven especially after a long day of snowboarding. Restaurants, convenient stores and ski hires are walking distance from the hotel as well.

The location for skiers was ideal. The breakfast was interesting and very good. The public Onsen was a huge bonus. We loved it and used it every day after skiing. The rooms had an authentic Japanese decor and we loved sleeping on the futon mats.
